The toriten here is SUPERB

I went past 13:00 on weekdays, but waited about 30 minutes before entering the store.Order standard Natori-ten with set meal.The freshly made toriten was delicious with crisp, light clothing and juicy chicken harmony.If I can easily eat in the neighborhood, I would like to go regularly, but when I was asked if I wanted to wait for an hour, I couldn't find the value personally.

The menu is a bit like a high-end Chinese restaurant, but the appearance of the shop is not Chinese at all, and the aim of the customer is "Toriten", and the shop side sells it.I went without expecting it to be like a fried chicken set meal, but I didn't say a big difference, but it was different.に The uniform thickness of the crispy garment is well matched with the modest and delicious chicken breast meat (probably), and if you use the shop's original kabosu vinegar soy sauce, it will taste very refreshing. Chinese restaurant which is famous for its tempura fried chicken.Came for lunch and obviously did the chicken set which is 1350 yen - it was ok, not bad nor amazing. Slightly expensive for what it is I felt.If you are couple or group would recommend doing a different set (they had Chilli prawns and beef in sweet and sour sauce set for 1100 yen for example) and ordering the tempura chicken on its own to share.It's famous in beppu so guess go once to say you have been.

Ordered the Toriten and Mabodofu set which was delicious (if not a tad expensive). Simple and great.

I went for lunch.The meat of Toriten was tender, juicy and delicious.It makes sense to have a line.I also want to go when I go to Beppu!The man at the parking lot was interesting (* ^^ *)Is it a famous uncle?

It was the best! I went to my daughter one year ago, but I didn't think I was narrow.What I ate, Toge Noodles, Yuzu Toriten, Toriten, Okoke, Peking Duck, Takeout,Mapo tofu, sesame dumpling. They are all delicious. The meat was rather small in the sword noodles, but the meat was very delicious. It was a stroller, but when the turn came, I was guided to the waiting area inside. I don't know if it's absolutely small because the parlor seems to be small, but I was impressed because I had a baby at the round table. I met a great man. I gave my daughter sweets. She said her husband was like Giba-chan.

Perhaps because of the New Year's holiday, a lot of people were waiting at lunchtime. It was a famous store with a lot of celebrities. I waited for less than an hour and entered the store. The family ordered a set meal of 1250 yen and a fried rice of 650 yen. The birds were filled as soon as they overflowed from the plate, and were hot and very juicy. I was advised to add kabosu vinegar soy sauce or pepper. The taste was good enough as it was, but the taste was even better when the spices were added. There was only a famous Chinese restaurant and the fried rice was delicious. However, to be honest, the taste of this bird was close to fried, and I could not recognize any particular difference. The difference might have been clear when compared. The next time you are asked if you want to wait an hour to eat, it is very doubtful.

Came to visit during Obon travel season. Ended up waiting for about an hour till the seat was freed up. There is a University in the area so young people come by alongside the visitors. The service was good, though.This place is famous for being the original place of Toriten (chicken tempura). The meat was very juicy. I ordered yuzu toriten (chicken tempura with citrus pepper flavoring) but I could not quite taste the citrus pepper. The other food on the menu looks like standard Japanese-style Chinese food.As toriten is a food Oita is famous for, I would recommend giving it a try. Although I don’t think it’s worth an hour of waiting.

The service is awesome, especially the staff on 2nd floor called 藤井-san! He explained to us in English when he realized that we are foreigners and recommended us the best way to eat. The food is undoubtedly delicious, even the 中华料理also tastes good!

The chicken is amazing

It's said that the store was born in Toriten, but I couldn't get in because there were always so many people. Since it was my first time, I tried a tori tempura set meal (1,250 yen), but the tori tempura here is a tempura-like tori tempura, with a crispy batter and the meat seems to be a little seasoned. It seemed that the shop recommended eating with kabosu soy sauce and mustard, but I liked eating with salt and mustard. The taste and volume were quite good, but even so, the "Toriten" 1,250 yen is a little expensive. Since there are too many people and it has already become a tourist spot, it may not be necessary to wait in line to eat in the future. I would recommend it to people from other prefectures.

Great tempura

The waiting time was long. But I went alone and it took about 40 minutes. It was said that there was a possibility of shared seats, but one person led to four people.Toriten set meal was delicious.I think it was worth eating side by side.But I don't think local people goI thought that waiting time would be inevitable for a sunflower bullet tour, but I have no regrets.The uncle in the parking lot wore ordinary uniforms when he entered the store, but when he left the store, he dressed like Santa and sent him out with a full smile. Husky voice. Worth a look. It seems to be a famous person.

Great food. People are nice to recommend popular dishes here. Middle spicy is not really spicy (so don't worry about it). Satisfying meal :)

However, the inside of the store was surprisingly large, and there were seats on the second floor, so I didn't have to wait too long to get in. There are box seats and private rooms, and there is also a child's Bambo, so it seems that families can use it easily.The important bird's heaven was usually delicious, with a slightly thicker batter over thinly-fleshed chicken. Price felt a little expensive. However, other Chinese menus seem to be more delicious, so I will try next time.

One of the most popular restaurants in this area.You need to queue 1 to 2 hours in the weekend.Their taste is average level but service is nice.I suggest you to go to other restaurants if you're busy.

Ever since Okan was taught by a doctor at a hospital I used to visit, I drop in almost every time I come to Oita. Immediately after the store opens, it's already full, but it's definitely worth the wait. When two or more people go, please order Toriten as a single item and some other dishes. There is almost no loss. It's so sad and unfortunate that it's the number of tori set meals.
